Moriz Jung (1885-1915), Austrian painter and graphic artist attended the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna and became a member of the Wiener Werkstätte. A series of color woodcuts for a poster and program book for the cabaret "Fledermaus" revealed his talent. At the beginning of the war he was seriously wounded in Galicia, but, barely recovered, went back into the field and fell in the Carpathian Mountains, with which his promising career as an artist came to an early end.
